Counselling involves talking and thinking about our lives with a trained professional in a supportive and confidential setting.


Counselling is not about giving advice and offers no magical solutions. A good counsellor or therapist will listen to you attentively, make you feel safe and valued, help you to look at your life in new and creative ways and will hold your best interest at heart.

I incorporate aspects and 'tools' from a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to offer an integrative approach. Every client is different and I have found it helpful to adopt a flexible approach based on discovering with the client what he or she finds most helpful as we work together.


Whatever the person's circumstances, I take into account the 'whole person as I believe strongly in the holistic idea of health - that our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits are interrelated and interdependent.


By working together it enables you to gain control of your life and realize your full potential. It can help you feel happier and less stressed and you will benefit from the renewed health that comes with a healthy mind.
